Hey I’m surprised Canada and Mexico are even on that map.
I still can’t forget an episode of ‘are you smarter than a fifth grader’ and the teacher thought Europe was a country rather than a continent.
Or when a guy in the U.S. wrote into NBC after the opening ceremony of the London Olympics writing ‘Georgia is a state, not a country’.

BRB, off to go find some Bhutan airplane landing videos on YouTube. Sometimes I know too much about geography. Seriously, go check out that airport.

Okay. I give you that. But lets be honest how many wouldn’t know the names or locations if asked to name or point to them? Some when asked couldn’t name ‘after which President is America’s capital named after?’.
Hell even the TSA refused a guy boarding when asked for a State Drivers licence for proof of I.D. and the guy showed him his D.C. Drivers licence and wouldn’t accept it.
Only the other week a young woman was ranting how a winner from D.C. shouldn’t be allowed into the Miss America Pageant because Columbia isn’t in America.
